New Third Party Administrator for OU Health Plan Effective Jan. 1, 2026

Effective January 1, 2026, the Orange Ulster Health Plan will transition to a new Third-Party Administrator (TPA) from Luminare Health to Sage TPA.

This change is part of our ongoing commitment to enhance your healthcare experience by providing you with improved claims processing and claim reimbursement along with knowledgeable and responsive customer service.

What You Can Expect:

  • New Medical ID Cards: You will receive new Health Plan ID cards from Sage TPA prior to the transition date. Please be sure to present your new SAGE/Anthem medical ID card to your providers starting January 1, 2026.  (The back of the new card will list the contact number for Sage and will replace your current Luminare Medical card)
  • New Prescription ID Cards (for non Medicare Primary Members): You will receive new Prescription ID cards from Navitus prior to the transition date because you will be assigned a new member ID number.  Please present your new NavitusRx card to your pharmacy starting 1/1/26.
  • Medicare Primary Members: You will ALSO receive new Prescription ID cards from Navitus BUT can continue to use your current ID card.  Please present your new NavitusRx card to your pharmacy.  In previous communication, we had noted that you would not be receiving new ID cards, but have recently been made aware that due to CMS requirements, you will now need to receive a new prescription card.
  • 24/7 Support: Sage Health provides a 24/7 care team accessible through the app, ensuring you have support whenever you need it!
  • Member Portal & Mobile App:  Sage TPA offers a user-friendly member portal and mobile app that will allow you to:
    • View your medical and prescription ID cards
    • Access to your medical and prescription benefits
    • Review claims information
    • Submit out-of-network claims for reimbursement (Not for Medicare Primary Members)
    • Connect with member advocates and care guidance resources
    • Explore wellness tools and care options

We are confident that Sage TPA will provide a seamless and enhanced experience for our members. Additional information about when to expect your new ID cards and instructions for accessing the Sage portal and app will be shared soon.
